Telescope's Position

I think that the position used to look at the signal from other planets seems to be as in Pic 1



From Pic 1, The telescope's positions are the red point of A, B, C  

The back of all telescopes will have a black plate (or lunar or artificial moon etc.) that shining the black shade (Black Arrow) to obscure a radius of the sun.
